Veterinary Technician / Assistant

(position open NOW!)

full time $16-20 / hour

  • minimum 1 year veterinary clinic (employment) experience

    OR

  • successful completion of an AVMA CVTEA accredited veterinary technology program

    AND

  • minimum 3 years equine experience (horse ownership, consistent riding lessons, working student position, pony club, horse farm employment)

Foundation Equine Clinic is seeking an experienced veterinary technician OR assistant to help us with our continued growth. We are a four doctor team with specialists in medicine, surgery, and field service, and a brand-new 6,000 square foot hospital on 10 acres in Horse Country.

We let our veterinary staff use their skills in imaging (taking radiographs, performing gastroscopy), IV catheter placement, wound care, bandaging, and more. Individual aptitudes and interests are encouraged, and our staff members can shape their future as we expand further in referral care, surgery, emergency care, and more.

Enjoy a four-day work week (we are open 8-5) with minimal weekends and opportunities to earn additional money outside of normal business hours. We are currently accepting applications from candidates with at least one year of full time veterinary clinic experience, or successful completion of an AVMA CVTEA accredited veterinary technology program. At least three years of horse experience (horse ownership, consistent riding lessons, working student position, pony club, horse farm employment) is required for application.
