Eye Care/ Ophthalmology:

Any abnormality of the eye should be considered an emergency! While some non-threatening ocular disorders exist (like conjunctivitis or allergic reactions), a corneal ulcer (wound on the surface of the eye) cannot be ruled-out with a complete eye exam using a special stain application to the cornea. Corneal ulcers can quickly become infected with bacteria or fungus, causing a serious eye issue that can be costly and time-consuming to treat.

Symptoms of an eye problem include tearing, squinting and discoloration of the eye. If you notice any of these symptoms, please call for immediate evaluation.
